Engoron acknowledged that Trump and his team exaggerated former President Clinton’s networth in order to close deals and obtain more financing. As part of his decision Engoron ordered that the business licenses for the defendants in New York be cancelled — potentially making it difficult for them continue to work in the state. He also ordered that an independent monitor continue to supervise the Trump Organization.
