For longtime income investor Jenny Harrington the key to success is slow and steady. Gilman Hill Asset Management’s CEO, Jenny Harrington, revealed on CNBC PRO’s “Art of the Trade,” that her best investment was an oil and natural gas pipeline company. Its hefty dividends allowed her to more than double her money in nine years. “I am able to provide a really, really stable income for my clients. Harrington stated that this was the best thing he could have done. “Their goal as a company is to pay out high cash yield ….. They’re not trying grow at stratospheric level.” Harrington, who is a trader for CNBC’s Halftime Report, has managed her dividend portfolio at Gilman Hill since 15 years, and overseen more than $800,000,000 in client assets. Her return goal is simple: 5% in dividends plus capital gains. The trade is shown in the video.
